The son of two very rich parents with his mother being the daughter of an oil tycoon and his father lucking out by being born into a 1% family. A trust fund kid, from old money. He and his parents never had a very close relationship, they got him a nanny pretty much the moment he was born and the only time he's really spent time with them was for mandatory holiday functions and the random award ceremony. While his parents would have loved to call him a genius he's not, Poe (as everyone calls him) is just neurotic over a very select few things. The body being one of them. Thus he was sent to become a Doctor at Harvard with the only warning being not to embarrass himself there. They wanted him to be a surgeon, possibly a neurologist, however Poe was much more interested in what happens to the body after death.

Which brings us to the story thus far: Poe is a fourth year med student who was attending his clinicals in the morgue of the Massachusetts General Hospital. While his parents wanted a brain surgeon, Poe was studying to be a coroner. Which is actually why he was able to avoid a lot of the initial infection spreading once the great cure fell through. He dealt with the dead not the living that were coughing upstairs.... that and he's a bit obsessed with cleanliness. His parents were some of the first ones that turned, Poe is pretty sure it was their valet that killed them, especially considering he found them dead in their expensive loft apartment and a lot of his mothers jewelry was gone.

Strengths: Can tend to most wounds, even fatal ones. He's also skilled in the process of taking apart the body and finding out the cause of death.

Weaknesses: Poe has little to no weapons training, his father took him duck hunting once and he neatly shot out the front tire of their guides jeep. He has insomnia which has given him deep circles under his eyes. His social skills are extremely sub-par, he gets nervous around strangers and in dangerous situations tends to ramble on.
